The Quasi Deck Jake Johnson 3DPO (8.625) is a surrealist playground of geometry, abstraction, and cryptic symbolism—perfectly aligned with the unique voice of both Quasi and Jake Johnson. The deck's visual layout is vertically segmented into sections, each presenting a different visual riddle in a subdued pastel and monochrome palette. At the top, a highly detailed, black-on-white spherical mesh evokes a digital net or an architectural dome, setting a tone of spatial illusion. Beneath it floats a cluster of 3D pink and blue cubes that seem to blink with tiny eyes, adding a sentient, almost eerie feel.

Centrally placed is a bold, black cross-like form with minimalist text reading “#70. Not looking around corners.” This cryptic phrase adds to the deck’s reflective, avant-garde tone. Accompanied by a monotone emoji-style face, the graphic seems to reference both detachment and quiet awareness. The name “johnson” is subtly scrawled to the side, and the Quasi logo is tucked neatly beneath, adding brand identity without overpowering the narrative.

At the tail, a polygonal 3D orb in green and blue, punctuated with minimal facial features, completes the graphic. It reads like a digital totem—otherworldly, angular, and ambiguous. The overall design feels like a mix of 1960s sci-fi, net-art aesthetics, and conceptual commentary, very much in tune with the abstract yet thoughtful graphic language Quasi is known for.

Quasi Skateboards, founded by Chad Bowers after the collapse of Alien Workshop, is revered for its artist-driven graphics, unique team energy, and dedication to high-quality, U.S.-made decks. Quasi functions more like an art collective than a traditional skate brand, priding itself on creativity, independence, and an outsider ethos.

Jake Johnson, a cult figure in skateboarding, is known for his raw street style, philosophical approach, and a certain mystique that makes him both admired and enigmatic. He played a pivotal role in Alien Workshop’s later years and became one of the key riders that helped shape Quasi’s early identity. Johnson is celebrated for pushing visual and conceptual boundaries—his parts are less about conventional tricks and more about interpretation, exploration, and intent, which aligns seamlessly with Quasi’s progressive DNA.

With its 8.625" width, this deck caters to riders who prefer a wider platform for stability and control, especially for transition, bowl, or all-terrain skating. The 3DPO graphic is both puzzling and expressive, an artwork that rewards the curious skater—much like Jake Johnson himself.
