The Powell Peralta Bones Brigade Mike McGill Reissue Black 16 (10.0) is a premium reissue of one of the most iconic boards in skateboarding history, celebrating McGill’s legacy and the golden age of the Bones Brigade. This limited edition Sixteenth Series release features screen-printed graphics on both the top and bottom, applied with heat and pressure for that timeless, original aesthetic. The deck comes in a rich satin black finish enhanced with foil highlights, giving the art a metallic depth and luster that stands out in any collection.

On the bottom graphic, McGill’s classic Skull & Snake design is brought back to life in vibrant gold, red, and white—a menacing skull with glowing red eyes pierced by a coiled red serpent, wrapped around it in a powerful, aggressive composition. This graphic has become one of the most recognized visuals in skate culture, symbolizing the raw energy and rebellion that defined the Powell Peralta movement in the '80s. The “McGill” name is slashed across the base in a jagged script, paired with the Powell Peralta wordmark.

Constructed with seven plies of high-quality U.S. hard rock maple, this deck uses only the most durable, top-tier materials. It's pressed with SP3 concave, maintaining the original shape and feel of McGill’s 1980s deck. It features the old-school hole pattern and dimensions faithful to the OG shape: 10.0" wide, 30.58" long, 15.25" wheelbase, 4.13" nose, and 6.2" tail.

Mike McGill is a legendary pro skater best known for inventing the McTwist, a 540-degree aerial spin that revolutionized vert skating and elevated him into the skateboarding hall of fame. As a key member of the Bones Brigade, alongside icons like Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, and Steve Caballero, McGill helped redefine what was possible on a board. His style, innovation, and fearless progression left a permanent mark on skateboarding history.

Powell Peralta, founded in 1978 by George Powell and Stacy Peralta, became a cultural force during the 1980s, building the Bones Brigade team and producing some of the most iconic videos and graphics in the industry. The brand is still revered today for its commitment to quality, nostalgia, and progression in skateboarding. Each reissue is made in collaboration with their partner workshop in Mexico and is individually numbered out of 2,500, making it ideal for collectors and riders alike.

Public release was March 31, 2025, and these decks were limited to one per customer, shipped with a special deck card unique to this series. Note that because of the foil printing process, minor visual inconsistencies may be present, adding to each board's one-of-a-kind nature.

This reissue isn’t just a throwback—it’s a tribute to one of the raddest eras in skateboarding, and a celebration of a rider who helped shape what skateboarding is today.
