The On Hollywood Tee Halloween Home S/S (Black) pays homage to John Carpenter’s 1978 horror masterpiece, Halloween, a film deeply connected to the South Pasadena area. The design features a distressed black-and-white image of Michael Myers, standing ominously in the background, while the classic jack-o’-lantern with a knife—one of the most recognizable symbols of the movie—sits in the foreground. The bold orange and white lettering, including Japanese katakana text, gives it a vintage, international horror poster aesthetic.
For the crew at the shop, Halloween isn’t just another horror flick—it’s part of the local landscape. Many of the film’s iconic scenes were shot just around the corner from the Stix SGV South Pasadena location. The Myers House, where it all began, stands right across the street. The hardware store that Michael Myers broke into to steal his infamous mask and knife is catty-corner from the shop, and Laurie Strode’s house sits just one block south. Walking around the area feels like stepping into the movie itself.
This tee embodies the film’s lasting legacy, capturing that eerie nostalgia that makes Halloween a favorite at the shop. A must-have for horror fans and film location nerds, it blends cinematic history with classic streetwear appeal.
Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
