The Heroin Deck Dead Dave Bug (10.1") is a bold and eccentric slab of wood, instantly recognizable by its eye-popping yellow stain, cartoonish madness, and signature Heroin weirdness. At the center of the artwork is a neon green, bug-eyed mutant character—complete with a flat cap, headphones, and tall sneakers—casually walking a black, scruffy little beast on a leash through a forested backdrop. The bug-like creature has "PLONK" scrawled across its chest, and the bottom is stamped with “DEAD DAVE” in bubbly purple-outlined lettering that bleeds personality.

Built with Razor Edge Construction, the deck features deep wheel wells and a massive 10.1” width, making it a dream for pool shredders, hill bombers, and anyone who prefers a wider ride. It’s available with either a 14.125” or 14.625” wheelbase, giving skaters some flexibility in feel and setup. This shape is unapologetically odd in all the right ways—exactly what you’d expect from a Heroin graphic.

Heroin Skateboards was founded in 1998 by Mark "Fos" Foster, an English artist and skater who’s done more to keep the offbeat spirit of skateboarding alive than most brands today. Fos’s artwork is instantly identifiable—warped, wild, and raw, just like the brand itself. Beyond founding Heroin, Fos is a renowned illustrator and creative force who’s also worked with other iconic companies like Baker, Altamont, and Shake Junt. More than just a name, Fos is a great friend of our shop—he and his wife are frequent visitors to the Monrovia location, always showing love to the SGV skate scene and staying true to the roots.

Dead Dave, the rider behind the board, is one of Heroin's most beloved underground pros—famous for his no-nonsense style and fearless approach to crusty terrain. Hailing from the UK, Dead Dave’s skating mirrors the graphic: unpredictable, raw, and full of character. His parts are filled with grinds on things most people wouldn’t even consider skating, making him a perfect fit for Heroin’s misfit ethos.

This board is more than just a ride—it's a rolling piece of outsider art, handcrafted for those who don't color inside the lines. Whether you’re skating it or hanging it, it brings that pure Heroin energy to the street or the wall.
