The GX1000 Team Embedded Deck (8.5" x 32.125") stands as a gritty tribute to the raw, underground energy of the GX1000 crew. This deck features a powerful and cryptic graphic by SAVIE (also known as SAVIEOTR / SAVIEMSK), known for his aggressive, abstract graffiti styles that embody rebellion and street culture. The design showcases a bold vertical graphic with tangled root-like extensions growing downward into an anatomical heart, symbolizing something deeply rooted or "embedded"—a fitting metaphor for the brand's deep ties to the streets. The raw woodgrain shows through behind the art, lending it a hand-touched, unpolished feel that’s true to the GX1000 aesthetic.
The board measures 8.5" wide by 32.125" long with a 14.25" wheelbase, ideal for skaters looking for a solid platform to handle high-speed bombing, heavy transitions, and crusty street spots. The deck has a medium to steep concave and is constructed with 7-ply North American maple, built for strength and pop. It's manufactured at BBS (Bareback), one of the most respected woodshops in the industry, ensuring consistent quality and durability.
GX1000 was founded by Ryan Garshell, the videographer behind the legendary GX1000 videos, which showcased skaters bombing the hills of San Francisco at insane speeds. What began as a video series evolved into a full-fledged brand that champions raw, aggressive skating with zero compromise. GX1000 isn’t about flashy contests or polished skateparks—it's about the streets, the grit, and the chaos. Their products reflect that ethos with bold graphics, limited runs, and high-performance shapes that hold up under the most brutal conditions.
The Embedded graphic, layered in symbolism and executed in SAVIE’s visceral visual language, gives this deck a serious edge for skaters who value attitude, style, and a little bit of chaos under their feet. Whether you're hanging it on a wall or taking it straight to the hills, this is a board that speaks volumes without needing to say a word.
