Thank You Skateboards

Torey Pudwill and Daewon Song are influential figures in skateboarding, each with a legacy of innovation and progression. In 2018, they co-founded Thank You Skateboards, a brand dedicated to giving back to the skateboarding community.

Daewon Song began his career in the late 1980s and quickly became known for his technical prowess and creativity. He co-founded Almost Skateboards with Rodney Mullen in 2003, contributing significantly to skateboarding's evolution. In 2006, Song was named Thrasher Magazine's Skater of the Year, and in 2017, he was inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame.

Torey Pudwill emerged as a skateboarding prodigy in the mid-2000s. He gained recognition for his technical skills and innovative approach, leading to sponsorships with major brands. Pudwill's standout video parts, such as "Big Bang" released in 2011, showcased his exceptional talent and solidified his status in the skateboarding world.

The inception of Thank You Skateboards followed both skaters' departures from their previous board sponsors—Pudwill from Plan B Skateboards and Song from Almost Skateboards—in October 2018. Their collaboration aimed to create a brand that reflects their appreciation for skateboarding and contributes positively to the community.

Thank You Skateboards focuses on producing quality skateboard decks and apparel, often featuring unique graphics that pay homage to skateboarding culture. The brand's mission is to use the collective power of skateboarding to shine a light on deserving causes and uplift the community through action.

Through Thank You Skateboards, Pudwill and Song continue to influence the skateboarding industry, fostering a brand that embodies their shared passion and commitment to the sport.
