Woah. You found us. Sick! Welcome to the official STIX blog! STYX was opened in Monrovia, CA in 1997 by our friend Jared Dibendetto. We took it over in 2003 and moved it to Downtown Monrovia, changing the name to STIX. In 2014, we opened our 2nd location in Claremont, CA. Our final location was opened in South Pasadena, CA in March of 2022. Our goal is to support our skateboarding community and celebrate the vast history of skateboarding in the San Gabriel Valley. Many legends have resided in these foothills we call home from Ben Schroeder, Chris Strople, Eric Nash, Jeff Grosso (RIP), and Lance Mountain to name just a few.
